The 25000-25049 series boxcars were built by Greenville Steel Car
Co. in August 1963. They came with Keystone 20" travel
end-of-car cushioning equipment and were assigned to carrying auto
parts. Several of the later 25000's
are still in revenue service in 2002.

John Alaniva put together an article on modeling the Greenville-built
25000's using Con-Cor's 60'
boxcar model and decals he had custom-made. The ACF-built cars could
be made from this model
with some extra modifications. Click the photo to go to the article.
